Director of CLS

Duties: Develop and implement program related required trainings, policies, and procedures. Create and implement plan for further growth of CLS department. Represent CLS department in the community and to stakeholders. Interact with co-workers, other professionals, and all interested parties in a professional manner. Take direction, interact and maintain open communication with supervisor. Develop and oversee goals and objectives for assigned department(s) according to agency Corporate Plan and agency Outcome Measurement System. Serve as a member of the Management Team and other committees as assigned. Ensure accurate documentation for all billable services to maintain revenue flow. Establish and monitor systems to insure that documentation is maintained as required by outside stakeholders, i.e. funding sources. Monitor formal staff development to meet referring sources training requirements. Coordinate and oversee the development of job specific training for assigned department(s). Ensure availability of identified training for staff as needed. Insure that assigned department(s) operates as required by all certification/accreditation entities, i.e. CARF standards. Follow up on audit/survey recommendations, including those conducted by outside reviewers as well as internal findings by QIF.

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.), or equivalent from four-year college in related field plus a minimum of three years of management experience, at least two of which must have been in an organization whose mission is similar to Skils’kin. Related post secondary education and experience totaling four years may be accepted in lieu of degree. Empathy for those with disabilities or disadvantages is required. Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test, have a current driver’s license with good driving record, maintain vehicle insurance, and insurable by Skils’kin vehicle insurance carrier. Must be 21 or older.
