Employment Services

Employment services programs assist working age adults with a disability the opportunity for full time, stable and rewarding careers with support based on individual need and offered in ways that promote choice, interdependence, productivity, financial security, benefits and opportunities for advancement. These services are a component of an individual’s pathway to employment and are tailored to individual needs, interests, and abilities through person centered planning, discovery and goal setting.
Typically, individuals served through SKILS’KIN employment services are referred by the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and/or Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).
