Grounds Maintenance Program


SKILS’KIN has been at the forefront of professional grounds maintenance for over 15 years. We are the prime grounds contractors at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington and F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Our $2,200,000 contract at Fairchild covers 1,400 acres. Since 2005, we have managed 747 acres at F.E. Warren and in 2007, SKILS’KIN was awarded a $100,000 grounds maintenance contract for the General Service Administration in Spokane at the Thomas E. Foley Federal Building, U.S. Post Office and U.S. Border Patrol. Through the AbilityOne Grounds program, SKILS’KIN employs 22 full-time employees and 100 seasonal employees.

We offer a full range of grounds maintenance services, including landscape management, mowing, trimming, weeding, aeration, fertilization, irrigation operations, green waste recycling and management, tree and shrub pruning and tree removal.

Our grounds maintenance contracts are under the AbilityOne Program, which helps people with disabilities find employment by working for nonprofit agencies who provide services to the U.S. government. We offer people with disabilities assessments, work-skill building, and worker attribute counseling.
